We sell Comfrey a few different ways: either cutting, crowns and in the future as plants.

Comfrey is a truly amazing plant, a must have in every garden. It has so many uses from medicinal, to fertilizer and everything in between. We personally use it in all our creams, drink it in as tea for certain ailments, as compost, fertilizer, feed, and use it in place of many antibiotics in our livestock. The plants we sell are propagated only by the roots and not spread like weeds through the seeds. Many people, when moving from property to property simply dig up some roots and take them with them to their new place.

The variety of comfrey we sell is most likely the Russian Variety Bocking 14. I do not make any guarantees about this but it has every characteristic of the variety from lots of foliage with large leaves, to no viable seeds but propagates very well by dividing the roots. So it is easy to control its spread.

WHAT YOU GET: 10 root cuttings.

This will be an assortment of root cutting ranging from 1 to 4 inches long,  from as thick as a pencil around as thick as the average finger or even bigger.

These cutting are best planted in Spring and Summer and can take a little time before sprouts are seen growing out of the ground.

This product is easy shipped, however, note, that we ship most of our orders on Monday and Tuesday mornings.

All Local Pick-Up orders should be in by the end of day Wednesday if you would like it by the weekend. We cannot promise to be able to fill later orders.
