Egyptian Walking Onion Seed Bulbils

Egyptian Walking Onions, is a type of winter onion, also known as Tree Onions are a must-have in every garden. They have a true onion flavor, with every part of the plant being useful. They are a very prolific sustainable plant. With just a little care one plant, within a few years, produce many plants. Every part of the plant can be used. The green stems can be used as green onions, the root bulbs divide out like shallots can be eaten or planted and the plant vigorously puts out seed
These plants are disease resistant, drought hardy and can be planted any time of the year. They grow well in zones 3-10 and do not require much care.

These seed bulbils will develop good root bulbs that divide and may have enough energy to produce seed new seed bulbils the first year if planted in the fall.

We ship in the last half of the week 

Be sure to choose free local pick-up if you plan to pick up locally at the bakery, or the local farmers market. We currently sell at the Marshfield Farmers Market in Marshfield, MO at the Young Shopping Center parking lot on Friday afternoons from 2:30 to 6:30. And at the Farmers Market of the Ozarks on Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 1:00pm in Springfield.

    These onions are a must-have for anyone who loves an abundant onion crop! When plants mature, air-bound bulblets will sprout new smaller stalks, which fall over and replant themselves! You’ll end up with a lot more than what you planted. With it being a low maintenance, hardy onion, it’s very easy to grow.
    I would love to have the Egyptian Walking onion in my garden every year!
